This is the layer you reach for when the office runs cold and the walk home runs colder. Button it all the way up and it reads like a fine-gauge sweater; leave the bottom few open over straight-leg jeans and it softens into something easier. The fine knit stays smooth under a coat, so it works as a midlayer from October through spring without adding bulk.
